The Clay Kit™

Sunlights®:

• In a stainless steel bowl, mix a 1:1 ratio by volume of Sunlights® Kaolin Based Clay Lightener and Suncrème® 40vol or 50vol Developer.
• Mix it thick! Using a whisk, merge the products together to avoid aerating the mixture.
• Mix until the product becomes “rocky”.
• Once the lightener has gathered in the whisk, use the Loader Brush to remove the product from the whisk into the bowl.
• Use the Loader Brush to smooth and fully combine the products in the bowl. The mixture should look like toothpaste.
• For balayage applications, apply mixture using the Balay Brush and Balay Paddle.

Moonlights®:

• In a stainless steel bowl, combine Moonlights® Kaolin Based Foil Lightener and Mooncrème® 25 vol developer at a 1:1 ratio by volume.
• Using a whisk, mix the products together until fully combined.
• The consistency should be similar to sour cream.
